BofA Alaska Credit Card - 75k Miles
The 75k miles sign-on bonus on the Alaska credit card is back. If you are looking to get more Alaska miles for your dream award ticket to Asia, this is the time to load up on the miles. 75k miles is typically good for one way in business class or roundtrip in economy. Learn more and apply.
AMEX Platinum - 175k Points
Many users are reporting a 175k sign-on bonus for the Amex Platinum. This is a really good deal for the card, and 175k points go a long way in flight redemption. One thing to be aware of is the wording of the sign-on offer. You want to avoid offers with the wording “as high as” because you won’t know the exact sign-on bonus until the card is approved. Learn more and apply.
Citi Strata Premier - 75k Points
The Citi Premier Card is offering a great sign-on bonus of 75k points after $4k spent in 3 months. We don’t hold this card ourselves, but from its benefits listing, this is a great beginner travel card that easily pays for its annual fee. The card comes with a $95 annual fee and provides a $100 hotel credit on travel booked through the Citi travel portal. Check out this NerdWallet article to learn more about the card.

Tip of the Month
Use shopping portals to amplify points earnings. These portals are one of the best ways, outside of sign-on bonuses, to earn extra points. During the holiday season, Rakuten often offers 10%-20% cash back, which you can opt to receive as Amex Membership Rewards points instead of cash. Other valuable portals include the Chase Shopping Portal, where you can earn Ultimate Rewards points, and the American Airlines AAdvantage eShopping Portal, which lets you earn AAdvantage miles. Compare offers across different portals before making a purchase to get the best deal and maximize your points earnings. Happy shopping!
